Herloia Lee Anthony, 75, of Orlando, departed this life on Tuesday, July 26, 2022. Herloia was born on July 28, 1946 in Orangeburg, SC to the late Lillian and Willie Anthony. He was employed as a truck driver for several years until he retired.
Herloia was a caring, trustworthy, kind hearted and respectable man. He raised all of his kids with values and morals. He always taught his children how to be strong and resilient. He was a provider and devoted his life to caring for his beloved family. He was a hard worker and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Hercules, as he was affectionately called, is survived by his loving wife, Cassandra Anthony; sons, Pastor Octavius L. (Keysha) Smith, Thad Anthony Sr.; daughters, Monica Wilson, Jo’Vita Anthony; brothers, Elijah (Caretha) Anthony, Carl (Mary Lee) Anthony, Dennis Anthony, Aaron Anthony; sisters, Mary Lee Smith, Vernita Alston, Margaret Livingston; 42 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and a host other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 12, 2022 from 4-6PM at the church. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2022, 11:00 AM at Mt. Olive African Methodist Episcopal Church, 2525 W. Church Street, Orlando with Pastor Marcus Green, officiating and Pastor Octavius L. Smith, eulogist. Interment: Orlando Memorial Gardens, Apopka.
