Ericka Marie Coleman-Barton was born in Orlando, Florida to Alfred Coleman and Cherry Gilcrease on March 18, 1977. Ericka graduated from Apopka High School in 1995. She later received her Associate of Science in Legal Studies and Business Administration degree from City College in 2012. Ericka lived in Apopka, Florida and was employed at Health First as a Business Analyst.
Ericka was a devoted wife, daughter, sister, niece, and friend. She was a selfless person, who enjoyed caring for her family and friends. Ericka had a heart of gold and would always put the needs of others above her own.
She is preceded in death by her Mother, Cherry Gilcrease-Wilburn; Brother, Arquisto Coleman; Father-in law, John Barton, Jr.; and Mother-in-law, Ruby C. Barton.
Ericka is survived by her loving and devoted Husband, John Barton, III of Apopka, Florida; Father, Alfred Coleman (Patricia) of Apopka, Florida; Brothers: Eric Coleman of Commerce, Texas and Claude Coleman (Celestine) of Columbus, Georgia; Sister, Jaylahn Carter of Maitland, Florida; Sister-inlaw: Katrice Coleman of Ocoee, Florida; Grandmother, Mary Gilcrease of Winter Garden, Florida; Uncles: Anthony Gilcrease of Apopka, Florida and Elbert Gilcrease (Wendy) of Orlando, Florida; Aunts: Silvia Manuel (Toney) of Tavares, Florida, Constance Harrison of Apopka, Florida, and Mary Ann Taylor of Apopka, Florida. She also leaves behind beloved nephews, nieces, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends
