An Italian restaurant in Kissimmee was forced to temporarily close its doors last week after a health inspector cited multiple violations, including the presence of rodent activity.
A health inspector with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation visited the business, which is located at 2901 B-1 Parkway Boulevard in Kissimmee, on Tuesday, July 26, and cited 14 different violations.
Among the violations were three considered high priority, including the presence of rodent activity. According to the report, over 100 rodent droppings were found all around the kitchen and storage areas. Additionally, rodent rub marks were present along walls and ceilings.
The business was permitted to reopen the following day, despite a dozen of the violations remaining.
