Orange County Sheriff’s deputies arrested over two dozen individuals after a multi-month investigation into a fentanyl trafficking ring.
According to OCSO, deputies arrested 29 individuals and seized firearms, over $300,000 in assets, and nearly a pound of fentanyl and cocaine as a result of Operation Fallen Star.
The arrests included those of leaders Andres ‘Roko’ Ubiles Ruiz and Alexander ‘Menor’ Rodriguez Carrion, as well as 18 of their co-conspirators and multiple others.
According to police, the organization was selling fentanyl laced with horse tranquilizer and cocaine throughout the county.
The case was investigated by the OCSO Narcotics Division.
