Seminole County firefighters extinguished a vehicle fire that broke out in a vehicle’s engine compartment this past weekend.
On Sunday, crews from the Seminole County Fire Rescue responded to a fire that broke out in the engine bay of a vehicle near the intersection of Central Parkway and Montgomery Road in Altamonte Springs.
Seminole County Fire Rescue Engine 12 extinguished the fire, with no injuries reported.
It was the second reported vehicle fire by local emergency personnel on Sunday, happening just hours before another vehicle fire that broke out in nearby Maitland.
Similarly, during that incident, the engine bay of a vehicle caught fire before crews from the Maitland Fire Rescue and Orange County Fire Rescue responded and extinguished it.
No injuries were reported during that incident as well.
