Sonia M. Crooks, age 90, of Orlando Florida unfortunately passed away in the early morning on the 6th of August, 2022. Born in the Caribbean island of Jamaica in 1931 on the 3rd of October, Sonia grew up as one of four siblings and was surrounded by a large family of aunts and uncles. She was deeply influenced by her family to be a loving and caring person, always giving of her time and energy to those in need. After completing her education, Sonia migrated to the United States for better opportunities. She continued with her education by enrolling in Monroe school of Business where she received certificates in accounting. Sonia then worked in the Banking industry until her retirement. Always the homemaker, Sonia enjoyed cooking and baking and always looked forward to entertaining her family at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Sonia was a beautiful and wonderful person who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her Son, Grandson, Daughter – in- law, eldest Sister, Brother, Nephews, Nieces, and God-daughter.
