19-year-old arrested for child porn, drive-by shooting at Regal Cinemas

A 19-year-old man who allegedly shot and injured a teenager at a Kissimmee theater during a drive-by shooting is facing 67 felony charges, including first degree murder and possession of child pornography.

According to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, Ellis Sixto Reyes was arrested on Wednesday, August 17, in connection with a shooting that took place on July 2

On that day, deputies responded to the Regal Cinemas located at 3232 N. John Young Parkway in Kissimmee after receiving calls regarding a shooting. Upon arrival, officers discovered that a 16-year-old victim had been shot.

Detectives were able to identify the suspect as Reyes and, during their investigation, determined that Reyes was in possession of child pornography.

At the time of his arrest on Wednesday, Reyes was in possession of a handgun, cannabis, and drug paraphernalia, according to a press release from OCSO.

Reyes was booked into the Orange County Jail on dozens of charges, including first degree murder, aggravated assault with intent to commit a felony, and 51 counts related to possession of child pornography.
