Noelia C. Nieves

It is with the heaviest of hearts that the children of Noelia C. Nieves announces her passing on August 17, 2022 at the age of 67 at Orlando Regional Medical Center. She was born on September 19, 1954 to Jose Ramon Castro & Beneranda Castro Santiago in Juncos, Puerto Rico.

“Nellie”, as she was affectionally known to all who loved her, graduated from Bassick High School. She taught at Bryant Elementary School before relocating to Orlando, Florida.

To everyone who knew her, Nellie was loving and kind. She loved her kids dearly and made sure we knew. She loved to blast her favorite singer Marc Anthony in her car driving around town. She took every chance she had to salsa to her favorite song.

She was preceded in death by her father Jose Ramon Castro, mother Beneranda Castro Santiago, and three sisters; Elsa Castro, Juana L. Castro, and Margarita Castro.

Nellie is survived by her loving Children, Noelia Falcon (Bobby Falcon), Victor Molina, Lissete Estien (Alex Estien), Alberto Grasty, Tamika Grasty (Kevin Bradley); 10 Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandchild; 6 siblings; Luis Castro, Lydia Castro, Felipe Castro, Elias Castro, Carmen Castro, Norma Castro; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends that will miss her dearly.

A Celebration of Life will be held starting at 1pm on Sunday, August 28th at A Community Funeral Home & Sunset Cremations.
