$40,000 commercial a/c unit stolen from Sanford strip mall

Sanford police are asking the public for help to identify and track down a pickup truck in connection with the theft of a $40,000 commercial air conditioning unit from a local strip mall.

According to the Sanford Police Department, on Saturday, August 6, the truck in this story was photographed leaving the Marketplace at Seminole Towne Center, located at 1301 WP Ball Boulevard.

Authorities say the truck was used to steal a commercial air conditioner that is valued at more than $40,000.
