The Sanford Police Department is asking the public to help identify a man who allegedly concealed junk food in a duffle bag and walked out of a local Walmart without paying.
On August 14, the man photographed above entered the Walmart located at 1601 Rinehart Road in Sanford.
According to police, the man was seen on video selecting a duffle bag, tearing the tag off, and placing multiple items in the bag, including Monster Energy Drinks, candy, cookie dough, biscuits, and meats, to name a few.
The items totaled approximately $406.20 in value.
The man was seen exiting the store on a motorized scooter without paying for concealed merchandise.
