Two vehicles were involved in an accident on Wednesday evening after they ran into 150 extra feet of railroad tracks laid across a Longwood roadway.

Seminole County Fire Department crews responded to the SunRail tracks at the intersection of S. Ronald Regan Boulevard and Lyman Road at around 8:15 p.m. on Wednesday, August 24, after receiving calls regarding a motor vehicle crash.

Upon arrival, emergency crews discovered that approximately 150 feet of railroad track had made it onto the roadway as a result of another project.
