Our family sadly lost a piece of our hearts on Friday, August 19, 2022, when Christopher Phillip Gill passed away at 55. Chris was a fiercely devoted father. He leaves behind his daughter, Taylor Gill, of whom he was extremely proud; his mother Josephine Gill, sisters and brothers-in-law Allison and Gary Pierre and Gillian and Sherwin Williams and their children; brother Marlon Gill and his children; and his fiancé, Mary Della Malva.
Chris’ early life was spent in Trinidad where he grew up playing the cuatro in his father’s bands. By his late teens, he was well known in Trinidad as a musician in his own right, gigging across the island on a weekly basis. Upon his arrival to the US, he began his career as a freelance Audio Engineer. His love of music continued throughout his life.
Chris was loved, is missed, and will always be cherished.
