Seminole County fire crews were called to the scene of another vehicle fire this past weekend.
Seminole County Fire Department crews responded to reports of the vehicle fire on Red Bug Lake Road in Oviedo on Sunday, September 4, at around 4:22 a.m.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a Jeep Wrangler whose engine bay was completely engulfed in flames.
The fire was extinguished by SCFD Engine 26, Tanker 24, and Oviedo Fire Department crews in less than a minute.
No hazards were spilled on the highway and no injuries were reported.
The vehicle fire joins multiple, similar incidents that took place across the area over the past week. That includes a fire that broke out on I-4, by the Universal Boulevard exit, as well as another car that caught fire on Horatio Avenue in Maitland.
