A townhome fire displaced two families on Monday night.
Orange County Fire Rescue units responded to 7732 High Pike Road on Monday, September 12, at around 10:04 p.m. in reference to calls regarding a fire on the back patio of a townhome.
Upon arrival, crews discovered that one of the townhomes was completely engulfed, with smoke and flames showing from the rear of the building.
The fire was extinguished and crews are currently monitoring the situation.
As a result of the fire, two families were displaced. No injuries were reported and the Red Cross was not needed, according to authorities.
