A leader in developing LED volume stage technologies celebrated the opening of a new set in Orlando.
Vū, which has studios in Tampa, Nashville, and Las Vegas, has opened its first location in Orlando, joining a small collection of similar studios in the area that are leading the charge for technological advancements in the entertainment industry.
Located at 9460 Delegates Drive in south Orlando, the new studio officially opened to the public on Friday, September 9 and features three soundstages, including a 155′ x 26′ immersive LED Volume. The stage is one of the largest permanent LED Volumes in the United States, according to the company.
Vū believes the stage will provide “production capabilities that will change the production game in Orlando and add another technology powerhouse to an already emerging innovation community,” according to a statement.
Billed as the ‘Metacenter,’ or capital of the metaverse, city of Orlando officials believe the new offering from Vū will greatly impact the city’s production capabilities.
“Vū is thrilled to be bringing new metaverse-enabling content creation capabilities to market. Thank you to the Orlando community for welcoming us with open arms,” reads the statement from the company.
