30-year-old father killed in Sanford, police looking for suspects

The Seminole County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for help to find those responsible for killing a 30-year-old father in Sanford.

Kameron Dominique Olonte Alston was found shot and unresponsive in his car on Sunday, September 18, while parked on Roseberry Lane in unincorporated Sanford.

According to police, at around 8:30 p.m., SCSO deputies responded after several residents reported hearing gunshots.

Upon arrival, deputies discovered Alston in a gray Nissan, parked at the end of the road. He was pronounced deceased on the scene.

Witnesses say they saw a dark, 4-door passenger vehicle drive away from the scene shortly after hearing the gunshots.

Police canvassed the area, but were unable to locate any individuals involved.

Detectives believe the incident is isolated and was not a random act. They are asking anyone with information to call the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office at 407-665-6650. To remain anonymous, and to be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000, contact the Central Florida Crimeline at 800-423-8477.

Alston was the father to multiple children, according to his social media profiles. Friends and family have taken to social media to grieve and share condolences.
