One person was seriously injured after smoke and fire consumed an apartment building in west Orlando.
Orlando Fire Department crews responded to Willow Run in The Willows neighborhood on Monday, September 19, after receiving reports of an apartment building on fire.
Upon arrival, OFD crews discovered a single-story building engulfed in heavy smoke, with a fire quickly moving through the building.
Firefighters were able to prevent the fire from spreading and code enforcement was called to the scene.
One person was transported to the Orlando Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.
