Rose Emma Chambers

She had been living with her daughter Maria (Kathy) in Lexington SC but had recently moved to Grove City PA. She was the daughter of Warren and Emma Reed Shaffer. They preceded her in death.

She was married to Paul Creig Chambers on November 4, 1955. He preceded her in death.

Surviving children are Cynthia Smith of Willow Spring NC, Paula and her husband, Mark Wentsel of Glen Allen Virginia. Maria (Kathy) and her husband, Paul Arckey of Lexington SC, Marcia Chambers/ Bob Nelson of Greenville SC.

Children preceding her in death were Bonnie Haskell, Gary (Chip) Chambers, and Brian Chambers.

Surviving siblings are Irene Karns and husband Jim of Harrisville PA , Warren Samuel Shaffer of Polk PA and Chester Shaffer and wife Lynda of Knox Pa.

Sisters preceding her in death are Dorothy Kraft, Clara (Louise) Morrison, Lois Susan Shaffer, Helen Dinger, and Shirley Sloat.

She has 11 granddaughters and 6 grandsons and many great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Her hobbies were decorating cakes, sewing, collecting angels and bells. She really enjoyed directing church drama programs at the Church of Christ at Lake Ellen where she was a member.

A gathering of family and friends for Rose will be held Friday, September 23, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, 994 E Altamonte Drive, Altamonte Springs, Florida 32701. A celebration of life service will start at 11:00 AM with interment to follow in Glen Haven Memorial Park, 2300 Temple Drive, Winter Park, Florida 32789.
