Suspect wanted for following woman to downtown Orlando apartment before robbing, assaulting her

The Orlando Police Department is asking the public for help to identify a suspect who is accused of following a woman to her apartment in downtown Orlando, robbing her of cash, and assaulting her.

Detectives have released photo and video of a man who is accused of following a female victim for several blocks through downtown Orlando on September 5, just after 2 a.m. During the incident, police say the man gained unauthorized entry into her apartment, and while inside, engaged in suspected battery.

Police say the man stands approximately 6’2″, and has a bald head and beard. He was wearing a black shirt, black pants, black sneakers, a gold necklace, and an Apple iWatch on his wrist during the night of the incident. The man has several tattoos on his chest and a distinct Japanese symbol for “strength” on his upper left arm.
