A 23-year-old man was killed this morning after his motorcycle was involved in a head-on collision in Osceola County.
The incident occurred around 6:15 a.m. on Tuesday, September 27, near the intersection of Polynesian Isle Boulevarde and Barefoot Path.
According to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol, a 2017 Ford Escape, being driven by a 53-year-old Kissimmee man, was stopped in the westbound lane of Barefoot Path.
The motorcyclist, who was driving a 2019 Harley Davidson, was traveling northbound on Polynesian Isle Boulevard, approaching Barefoot Path.
The Kissimmee man attempted to make a left turn to travel southbound on Polynesian Isle Boulevard and traveled into the direct path of the motorcycle, where the left front of the Ford struck the front of the motorcycle.
The motorcyclist, who was from Beatrice, Nebraska, was pronounced deceased on the scene.
