Comedian reschedules show at Dr. Phillips Center, others likely to follow

A popular comedian who was scheduled to perform a show this week at the Dr. Phillips Center that was previously rescheduled from last November, is being forced to reschedule again due to Hurricane Ian.

Todd Barry will forego his show scheduled for Thursday, September 29, at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. Barry was scheduled to perform that evening in the center’s Alexis & Jim Pugh Theater.

A future date has not been announced, with representatives for Barry saying that an official announcement will be made soon.

Multiple artists are scheduled to perform this week across Orlando venues, including hip hop star Joyner Lucas, who is scheduled to make an appearance at The Beachem on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Additionally, Wisin & Yandel are scheduled to perform at the Amway Center on September 29 and October 1.

KFMDM is scheduled to perform at the House of Blues on Thursday as well.

Orlando-News.com has reached out to each venue and is awaiting further information on the status of these concerts and others. We will provide updates as they are provided by the venues and performers.
