A Chinese restaurant near SeaWorld was forced to temporarily close its location after a health inspector cited roach and rodent activity, among other violations.
Pearls Chinese Restaurant, which is located at 5438 Central Florida Parkway, was temporarily shut down on Thursday, September 22, after a health inspector with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation cited at least 10 health code violations.
Among the violations were roach activity, as evidenced by at least four roaches found in the restaurant, and rodent activity, as evidenced by seven rat droppings found near a washing area.
The restaurant was permitted to reopen on the following day, Friday, September 23, after only 8 violations remained.
