A portion of State Road 46 in Seminole County has been closed off due to “significant flooding.”

The Florida Highway Patrol made the announcement on Friday afternoon that a stretch of State Road 46 in both directions in Geneva will be closed until further notice.

That stretch begins at Jungle Road and ends at Prevatt Road.

The roadway is closed as a result of flooding that has covered the surface.

It follows reports of unprecedented flooding around Geneva, Oviedo, Chuluota, and other parts of Seminole County.
