Pablo Santiago passed away unexpectedly on October 1st, 2022. He lived a long life, leaving earth at 83 years old. Although loved by many for such a beautiful and long life, the family is both devastated and shocked by his death. Pablo was born on June 30th, 1939, to Maria Zayas and Tiburcio Santiago in Barranquitas, Puerto Rico.
Pablo lived in Puerto Rico until the age of 25. Then in 1964, he then moved to Middletown Connecticut with his soon to be wife Luz. There, Pablo and his wife Luz married in 1965 and remained so for the rest of his life. Pablo and Luz later welcomed two sons and a daughter.
Pablo is remembered as a hardworking man and provider for his family. He enjoyed playing guitar and the piano. His talents even lead him to join a Spanish band. Pablo enjoyed sitting in the garage listening to music, especially Johnny Cash. He liked to say jokingly that he was the proud owner of the most impressive encyclopedia collection.
Pablo was preceded in death by both of his parents and is survived by his wife, Luz; his children: Linda, Paul and Richard Santiago. Pablo’s three children blessed him with 10 grandchildren, followed by three great grandchildren. He is also survived by his five brothers and four sisters!
A Celebration of Life & Memorial Service will be held on October 6th, 2022, from 11:30-2pm, Family and friends are invited to come and share fond memories and stories.
