Truck carrying Starbucks, Rockstar drinks burst into flames on Turnpike

A semi-truck carrying a load of canned and bottled beverages burst into flames on the Florida Turnpike this week.

Orlando Fire Department crews responded to the fire along the Florida Turnpike, near its interchange with Interstate 4 by the Oakridge Road overpass, after receiving reports of a truck on fire.

Engines 10 and 11, Tower 10, and District 2 responded to the fire, which was situated along the southbound lanes of the highway.

According to authorities, the trailer caught fire while carrying a load of energy drinks, bottled coffees, and other beverages.

No injuries were reported and the fire was contained by crews.
