A gas leak that broke out under a sidewalk in west Orlando required a response from firefighters this weekend.
Orlando Fire Department emergency personnel responded to Bruton Boulevard in Orlando after receiving reports of a gas leak under a sidewalk this weekend.
Upon arrival, Engine 101, Hazmat 1, and Tower 1 crews assisted TECO energy personnel by opening up the sidewalk to gain access.
Metering of surrounding residents was conducted both inside and outside.
No hazards were found in any of the homes checked, according to authorities.
