Leu Gardens reopened its doors this week, just a week and a half after Hurricane Ian filled the park with storm debris.
The garden, which is located at 1920 North Forest Avenue in Orlando, reopened to the public on Monday, October 10.
“We can’t wait to see everyone back at the gardens. Thank you again to all who helped with the clean up efforts,” reads a statement from the park posted to its social media channels.
On Saturday, October 8, volunteers from around the community gathered at the park to clear storm debris and help prepare it for its opening.
The park will host its a Jazz’n Blues Concert this Saturday, October 15, beginning at 7 p.m. Multiple musical acts will take the stage during the concert, including Slickwood, Thom Chambers Group, and Mud Rooster Blues. Lobos Coffee Roasters will be onsite to sell wine, beer, coffee and desserts, and attendees are encouraged to bring their own dinner.
