Lucy Weisenberger Newton, age 93, of Windermere, FL passed away Thursday, October 6, 2022. She was born in Ancon, Canal Zone, Panama, the late Mary Harriet (Whayne) and Fredrick Ludlow Weisenberger and was employed as a teacher for the school system.
Lucy is preceded in death by her daughter Susan Bonnie Newton (1957) and leaves to cherish her memory, daughter Sharon Barbara Newton Pritchett of Spring City, UT; two sons Robert Jeffrey Newton, of Dix Hills, NY, Harold Walter Newton, of Windermere, FL; 8 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
The family will be receiving friends at 10:00 am on Saturday, October 22, 2022 followed by the funeral service at 11:00 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 3001 S. Apopka Vineland Road in Orlando, FL .
Interment will be at Manasota Memorial Park Cemetery located at 1221 53rd Ave, E. Bradenton, FL 34203 on Sunday, October 23, 2022 at 11:00 am.
