Man steals ice cream cookies, pulls gun on 7-Eleven clerk who confronted him

The Casselberry Police Department is asking the public to help identify a man who stole ice cream cookies from a 7-Eleven before pulling a gun on a clerk who tried to confront him before he left the store.

On October 1, the man featured in this story was seen entering the 7-Eleven at 1145 SR 436 in Casselberry. He was caught on video grabbing three Nestle Tollhouse ice cream cookies before exiting without paying for the items.

The store employee followed him in an attempt to capture a photograph.

While the employee tried to take a photo, the man turned around and pointed a black revolver-style gun at the employee before saying “back up.”

The man then fled the area on a bicycle.

According to the employee, the man has previously stolen merchandise from the store.

The man is described as a white male that was wearing a green, Dagen Trucking Company t-shirt, gray shorts, and a purple hat.
