Tolls operations have resumed across the state of Florida.
The change came about on Saturday morning, after over two weeks of suspended tolls as a result of Hurricane Ian. In some instances, tolls facilities were suspended as early as September 26 to support early evacuation and emergency response preparations.
According to the Florida Department of Transportation, tolls will remain suspended in three regions in order to provide “crucial support and hurricane recovery assistance to the hardest impacted region of Florida.” Those regions include Alligator Alley, Sunshine Skyway, and Pinellas Byway.
