The Sanford Police Department is asking the public for help to identify a man who stole a woman’s purse after she left it at the self-checkout registers at Walmart.
According to SPD, on October 6, a woman accidentally left her purse at the self-checkout registers at the Walmart located at 3653 S. Orlando Drive.
The individual featured in this story was caught on video surveillance placing the purse into his shopping cart. After he completed his transaction, he left the store with the purse.
