Red Bull Mind The Gap competition in Orlando open to all skateboarders

Red Bull will host an installment of its Mind The Gap skateboarding series in Orlando this weekend.

The skateboarding competition will take place on Saturday, October 29, beginning at 5 p.m. at Ace Cafe, which is located at 100 W Livingston Street in downtown Orlando, according to a listing by The Boardr.

The event will feature an 8-foot flat gap that contestants will perform tricks over. Multiple jam sessions will be hosted throughout the evening, with each session limited to 20 skateboarders.

Monetary prizes will be awarded for 1st ($250), 2nd ($150), and 3rd ($100) places, and the winner will also receive an additional $500 in travel accommodations to be used at Mind The Gap in Atlanta this December.

At 6 p.m., former Thrasher magazine Skater of the Year Jamie Foy will make an appearance and sign autographs.
