Milagros Aleida Morales

On Thursday October 20th, 2022, Milagros Aleida Morales, A beloved and accomplished Mother, Daughter, Sister, and Teacher to many, went to be with The Lord.

She was surrounded by family and friends. Milagros excelled from a young age and received outstanding scores from Pace University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. Milagros would also achieve excellence once again earning a Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership from the American College of Education. She also held a Certification as a Master Catechist in addition to her Elementary Education certification from the state of Florida. She spent two years working as a second-grade teacher in the public schools in New York City.

Milagros then prestigiously and selflessly served as one of St. Margaret Mary’s finest first grade teachers for 17 years, before accepting a position as the Assistant Principal of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic school for another 9 years. Milagros had a true gift for educating and leading the children and community she served so loyally. She was dearly loved and an inspiration to her family, students, and coworkers.

She was a beautiful person on the inside and out. She was respected by her students and coworkers, and looked up to as role model. She is survived by a strong beautiful family; her two dear children, Brandon Febo and Eliana Febo; her loving parents, Lewis and Norma Morales; and her close siblings, Raymond Morales and Vanessa Morales McCann.

A celebration of Milagros’s life and the profound impact she had on us all is planned for October 28th at 6pm for her wake at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Maitland, FL. The funeral service will be held October 29th at 11am at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church. Flowers may be sent to the church. In honor of her legacy as an educator, the family asks that you bring a backpack filled with school supplies to donate to a child in need in our local community. We also ask that in remembrance of the bright light Milagros was in our lives, that you wear light color attire to the memorial services.
