Orlando police investigating shooting death of man outside abandoned home

Police are investigating the death of a man who was found outside of an abandoned home in Orlando on Thursday morning.

Orange County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded at 8:26 a.m. on Thursday, October 27 to the 2700 block of Rio Lane in reference to a man down.

Upon arrival, deputies found an adult male outside of an abandoned residence who had been shot. The man was pronounced deceased on the scene and no additional information on his identity was provided.

Police say the investigation is in its early stages and have not yet provided any suspect information.
