Man who used gun to rob Fifth Third Bank in Lake County wanted by police

Law enforcement authorities are asking the public to help identify a man wanted for using a firearm to rob a bank in Lake County.

According to the Clermont Police Department, on Thursday, October 27, the man featured in this story was caught on video surveillance entering the Fifth Third Bank at 1350 Roper Boulevard in Clermont.

After entering the bank, the man showed the pistol that was concealed under his sweatshirt and demanded money.

The man was wearing a black hoodie, light gray shorts, sunglasses, and a blue mask. He fled the scene in a white SUV pictured below.

The Clermont Police Department is asking anyone with information about the man’s identity or the incident in question to contact Detective Lopez at 352-394-5588 (option 3), or Central Florida Crimeline at 800-423-8477.
