Joan Marion Colwell, 68, of Orlando, Florida, passed away October 22, 2022.
She was born in Dublin, Ireland on 01/18/1954. She graduated and received a Degree in Nursing from Royal City of Dublin Hospital. She worked as a registered nurse for many years and would go on to found the Nightingale Nursing Agency to great success. She was a faithful Catholic and a true believer in the power of faith and prayer. She had a great passion for music that never waned, but only grew throughout the years. She loved the sea and the ocean- from tanning on the beach, to riding in her boat, to her many encounters with ocean life like dolphins and manatees, she was always happy to be by the sea. She was always keen on current events, from politics to criminal trials, she was always eager to remain up to date on the latest news of the world.
She is survived by her children Christina and Patrick, her only granddaughter Leah, her mother Josephine, and her siblings Moira, Alban, Vera, Patrick, Niall, and Lynda.
