21-year-old found dead from gunshots in south Orlando

Law enforcement authorities have identified a 21-year-old victim who was shot and killed in south Orlando on Tuesday.

Orange County Sheriff’s Office deputies found the body of Kyle D’Jireh Mote on Tuesday, November 1, after responding to the 2100 block of Americana Boulevard around 2:30 p.m.

Mote was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Police are investigating a homicide that took place in south Orlando on Tuesday afternoon.

The sheriff’s office is asking anyone with information about this incident to contact Central Florida Crimeline at 800-423-8477.

The incident occurred just a few months after a similar shooting claimed another victim in the same area. Earlier this summer, Wingly St. Vil was found dead at The Caden at Lakeside Apartments on Americana Boulevard.
