Lake Lorna Doone Park will host a Harvest Festival this weekend for local residents.
The festival will take place on Saturday, November 5, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the park, which is located at 1519 West Church Street.
The event will feature nature-inspired educational booths, local non-profit organizations, children’s game and craft areas, fall photo opportunities, a free fall nutritional class, food, local music, and the presentation of the Eco Activation Plan.
The event is being hosted by IDEAS for Us, the City of Orlando, and the Arnold & Winnie Palmer Foundation.
IDEAS For Us (IDEAS) began in 2008 as a group of UCF students interested in advancing sustainability on university campuses and communities around the world. Since then, it has grown into a global non-profit.
