Two men, including one from Casselberry, were killed after their vehicle crashed into a tree in Dixie County over the weekend.
According to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol, the incident took place at midnight on Sunday, November 6 near the intersection of County Road 351 and SW 782nd Avenue, north of Horseshoe Beach.
The men were traveling northbound on CR 351 when their vehicle traveled onto the east shoulder and collided with a tree.
The driver, a 26-year-old man from Casselberry, and his passenger, a 54-year-old man from Horseshoe Beach, succumbed to their injuries and were pronounced deceased on the scene.
