The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for help to locate a 16-year-old DeLand girl who has been missing since Monday afternoon.
According to VCSO, Ta’Caiya Washington left her DeLand home on Monday afternoon after making concerning statements.
Washington weighs 100 pounds, stands 5’1″, and has brown eyes and black hair.
Police believe she may be with 17-year-old Jermaine Barron, who is wanted on an active Volusia County arrest warrant.
