34-year-old man thrown from motorcycle, killed by light pole

A 34-year-old Kissimmee man was killed after he lost control of his motorcycle and struck a light pole.

The fatal accident took place near the intersection of Palm Parkway and Lake Street on Wednesday, November 16, just after 3 a.m.

According to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol, the man was driving a 2014 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R northbound on Palm Parkway, just south of Lake Street, when he failed to negotiate a curve and lost control the vehicle.

The motorcycle crossed over the center median and the driver was thrown into a light pole.

The man was pronounced deceased at the scene.
