A man was found dead after an apparent accident on a motorized skateboard in Orlando.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, on Wednesday morning, passersby reported discovering a deceased male located on the grass shoulder of S Westmoreland Drive, just north of 34th Street in Orlando.
Authorities say that preliminary evidence suggests the man, who has not been identified by police, was operating a motorized skateboard on S. Westmoreland Drive in the southbound lane.
The man traveled off the roadway and onto the grass, falling off the skateboard. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Police believe the man died within the 12 hours of when his body was found and the Orange County medical examiner’s office is currently working to identify the man.
