An Orlando man has claimed a $5 million prize from a scratch-off he purchased in Clermont.

The Florida Lottery announced that 37-year-old Jerry Norasing claimed the $5 million top prize from the Gold Rush Limited Scratch-Off game at the lottery headquarters in Tallahassee this week.

Norasing chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $3,960,000. He purchased his winning ticket from a RaceTrac gas station located at 3201 South Highway 27 in Clermont. The retailer will receive a $10,000 bonus commission for selling the winning scratch-off ticket.

Gold Rush Limited launched as a $20 scratch-off game in September 2021 and features 32 top prizes of $5 million and 100 prizes of $1 million. The overall odds of winning are 1-in-2.65.
