A teenager has been arrested and charged with the murder of an 18-year-old in south Orlando.
Caleb Charlie Kevin Oliver, 19, was arrested by the Longwood Police Department on Tuesday, November 29 in connection with the murder of Jamarie Lavor Searcy.
According to police, on Sunday, November 27, Orlando Police Department officers responded to the one block of Judith Lane in response to a shooting call. Upon arrival, officers located Searcy, who had been shot to death.
This week, Oliver was interviewed by OPD Homicide Detectives and provided a full confession for the crime.
Oliver is facing a first degree murder charge and is currently being held at the Orange County Corrections Department.
