Dozens of emergency units and firefighters were called to the scene of an explosion at a fireworks warehouse in Orange County last night.
Orange County Fire Rescue units responded at 7:10 p.m. to a multi-occupancy warehouse located at 901 Central Florida Parkway. Upon arrival, heavy flames and smoke were emanating from the warehouse as it was actively exploding. The warehouse was housing fireworks.
Over 80 firefighters and 30 emergency units worked to douse the flames. Crews made multiple rescues during the incident, transporting four patients from the scene.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. No firefighters received injuries, according to authorities.
