Judith Ann Chabut, passed on November 30, 2022. She was 82. Judy, as her friends lovingly called her, was born on September 27, 1940 in Youngstown, Ohio to Jess and Beverly Martin. Judy is survived by her only sister, Marlene Decenso of Austintown.
Judy passed away in Orlando, Florida with her 3 children by her side; LaReine Chabut of California, David Chabut of Georgia, and Laura Stanley of Florida. Judy’s greatest joy was spending time with family and her many grandchildren; Dara, Danielle, Dayna Rey, Ashli, David Jess, Isabella, Sofia, Casey, Blake, Joshua, and Jordan.
A memorial service was held at the Spring of Life United Methodist Church in Orlando, Florida, a place where Judy found a community of many friends. Pastor Mike Luzinski spoke about how Judy used her love of flowers to bless the lives of other people. As a floral designer, Judy liked arranging flowers for her church week after week. She also got to share her love by doing the flowers at her daughter’s wedding and the weddings of some of her grandchildren.
Judy is survived by her former spouse, Lee Chabut. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
