Conway Elementary School evacuated after bomb threat

An Orlando elementary school was evacuated this morning after a threat was called into the school.

Conway Elementary School, which is located at 4100 Lake Margaret Drive in Orlando, was evacuated on Thursday, December 15, after a bomb threat was called into the school.

The school was reopened and the evacuation was lifted a short time later, according to school officials.

“Everyone is safe. All students and staff returned to the school and there will be a normal dismissal from campus at the regularly scheduled time,” reads a statement from Orange County Public Schools Media Relations Manager Michael Ollendorff.
