UPDATE: The previous suspects in this case have been cleared of wrong-doing.
Two teenagers were arrested in connection with a shooting after a Jones High School playoff football game that claimed the life of a 19-year-old man.
On Thursday, Orlando Police Department announced the arrests of two teens for the murder of Gamaine Patrick Brown, who was shot and killed on November 12 in a parking lot at Jones High School in Orlando.
During that incident, Orlando Police Department officers who were working extra duty at the Jones High School vs. Wekiva High School football game responded to the sound of gunshots fired at around 8:22 p.m. in a parking lot. Brown was pronounced deceased at the scene, while two other victims were transported to the hospital with injuries, one by police, and one self-transported.
Over the past several weeks, Orlando Police Department detectives have worked with the OPD Gang Unit and school resources officers to identify and find the suspects.
