No injuries were reported after crews in Maitland extinguished an attic fire at a local residence.
On Tuesday, December 27, Maitland Fire Rescue Department crews responded to reports of a small fire at a home along Bethune Drive.
Upon arrival, firefighters performed an interior search and ventilated the roof before finding a small fire in the home’s attic.
The fire was quickly extinguished and no injuries were reported.
