Terry Tindle

Terry Tindle, 73, Orlando, FL formerly of Rock Island, IL passed away unexpectedly at his home on December 23, 2022. Per his wishes cremation rites have been accorded.

Terry was born in Moline, IL the son of Eugene and June Tindle. He graduated from Moline High School in 1967 and worked for the US Postal Service for 37 years retiring in 2005. He married his wife Diane in 2002.
He loved his family and friends and was never short on stories that kept everyone laughing, his grandsons especially enjoyed stories about his younger years. He coached his daughter’s softball teams in Rock Island for many years and was always their biggest fan in life. He was an Illini, White Sox, and Chicago Bears fan (and loved to see the Packers lose). He was an avid golfer with a great group of friends that never missed a tee time, a drink, or a time to tell jokes and laugh. He married his wife Diane and lived in Florida where they loved the beach, their dogs, and being together.
Survivors include his wife, Diane; daughters Julie (Ky) Soucinek, and Leslie Pyle; grandsons Carter Collins, Chase Pyle, and Mason Collins; brothers-in-law Robert Newell, Tom Newell, Doug (Cindy) Newell; sisters-in-law Sue (Troy) Koob, Liz (Charlie) Purdham; foreign exchange student (that is like a son) Ricky Scarpa, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a brother.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Christine Tindle, mother-in-law Patricia Newell, and beloved dogs Rocky, Brinkley, Chewy, and Ozzy.
A celebration of life will be held at Pinnacle Country Club in Milan, IL, on January 28, 2023 from 1-4pm. At the Pinnacle Country Club. 11928 Knoxville Rd. Milan, IL 61264
